I was born and raised in the once great state of California. I have had an interest in seeing damsels-in-distress as far back as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is seeing Daphne Blake in the Scooby-Doo episode "Which Witch is Which?" In this episode, as some of you may remember, Daphne is kidnapped by an old witch and a zombie, and later found stashed in an old riverboat, all tied-up and gagged. She does some nice "mmmphing" before her gag is removed. Another early memory I have is seeing Tina Louise (aka Ginger Grant) in the Gilligan's Island episode "All About Eva." In this episode Ginger is kidnapped by another woman who looks identical to her. She knocks Ginger out, and later has her tied-up and gagged kneeling on the ground. Ginger looks up at her "evil twin" and gag-talks: "You'll never get away with it!" Then she struggles against her bonds. This scene mesmerized me so much that I'm 99% sure it's responsible for my lifelong interest in bondage (but only mainstream bondage involving pretty damsels-in-distress).
